The PDF costs nothing
The complete manual, identical to the print interior, free to copy for non-commercial use. No email required, no watermark, no “sign up to download”.

The print edition costs money because paper does. The text does not.
For organisations
Hospitals, agencies, and engineering firms do not buy with a credit card — they buy with a purchase order, an invoice, and a returns policy. Three routes work:
| Route | Best for | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| IngramSpark | Any organisation with a procurement process | Trade discount, PO accepted, invoice, returns eligible, library processing |
| Amazon Business | Small teams already on Amazon | PO number at checkout, consolidated invoicing |
| Direct from the printer | 25+ copies, one invoice | Lowest unit cost, no trade discount layer |
No licence, no seat count, no “enterprise edition”. Buy more copies.
Where it is not sold
No subscription, no course, no membership, no consulting upsell, and nothing gated behind an email address. If a page ever asks you to pay for the text itself, it is not us.
Why six channels
A clinician in Manila buys on Google Play. A hospital librarian buys through Ingram because procurement needs an invoice. A manager on a train buys Kindle. A student reads the PDF because it is free. Restricting distribution to one store would decide for the reader, and this book does not do that.
Get the launch note
One email when the print edition exists — with every store link in it. Four emails a year at most. Nothing in it will ever be urgent.
Used once, for this. Never sold, shared, or fed to a model.
Questions about buying
Is there a hardcover?
Not yet. A casebound edition needs a 120+ page block to sit properly on a shelf; this is 85 pages, so paperback is the right object at this length.
Will there be an audiobook?
Only if a human narrator reads it. A synthesised voice on a book about keeping human judgment in the loop would be the joke that writes itself.
Can my organisation buy in bulk?
Yes, through Ingram or direct from the printer. There is no discount scheme, no licence, and no “enterprise edition” — order more copies.
Why is the ebook not free if the PDF is?
The PDF is the free text. The ebook is the convenience of it living in your reader, and the store takes a cut of anything sold there. If the price is a barrier, the PDF is right there.
